Thursday, June 14th 2007 - Come join us at the North Las Vegas Library for a Poetry Open Mic, a forum where the young and young at theart can express themselves in an environment of appreciation of poetry in all forms. Co-hosts Almary Gaston II and Monima Akobo are both published poets and experienced presenters/hosts. Amary and Monima are dedicated to providing a welcoming and appreciative environment for everyone to express themselves.
Must be 16 years of age or older, Sign up for presenting is at the door. Each person presents two poems/songs/pieces of writing or five minutes of time at microphone. When presenting works by other poets/authors. please acknowledge them along with the title.
